Unhappy Large impression in leather, please help!

Hey guys, a few weeks ago I accidentally left my passenger side window cracked during a shower. I caught it before the water was able to collect and after drying it as best I could with a towel, I wanted to be certain it wouldn't get muggy inside so I ran a de-humidifier in it over-night. I placed it on a large book to distribute the weight on the passenger seat. To my dismay, the edge of the book left this indentation clear across the front of my seat.

I was hoping it would return to its original state over time but it hasn't cleared up one bit. I've found articles on both using a heat gun to lightly heat and message the area back to its original shape in addition to setting a moist towel over the area.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can get my poor seat back in shape?

Thanks in advance!
-Mike

Let it sit out in the sun and the hotter it gets, the better. That should help.

Put a damp (not soaked) micro fibre towel in a microwave, when heated place on indentation (may require more than one application.

Apply Leather Masters Soft Touch (Vital) apply thin coats until surface regains its elasticity

You could always order a bottle of Leatherique Rejuvenator. Let the car sit in the sun until it gets really hot and then massage the Rejuvenator in with the palm of your hand until it starts to lift.

Once it's back to being close to normal, wrap the seat in saran wrap and leave it in the sun for as long as possible. I did this to my previous 2002 BMW M3 and made the leather look like it had never been sat on
