Diamond Dog is an unknown quantity at this point

Many sealants claim a lifespan. For example, they will say it will last 6 months. They also say you can layer in many cases. So if you put 2 layers of sealant, would you get 12 months?

Layering will not prolong the durability of a sealant - they need a paint surface to cross-link (bond) you could apply a wax to a sealant after the sealant has cross-linked. The wax would be the 'weak link' serving as a sacrificial layer and would take some of the environmental abuse and prolong the protection somewhat.

Look into OPT coatings (Optimum Gloss-Coat) it would provide superior durability

Optimum Gloss Coat is a hybrid coating consisting of SiO2 (silicon oxide) and SiC (silicon carbide). a protective clear resin coating, similar to the clear coat that already exists on your vehicle. It can be applied to all exterior surfaces. It is not recommended for glass since improper application can affect visibility. For other exterior surfaces, it is a highly effective, transparent, permanent coating that keeps your vehicle looking like new.
