clear bra prep

I am looking to have a clear bra done on my car. The current OEM rear fender protectors look horrible. Am I correct in doing things in the following order?

1. remove OEM rear fender protectors
2. clay
3. polish
4. clear bra
5. wax

and if not, what is the correct sequence?

ArnGar is infamous around these parts
You might want to contact MoeMistry. He has detailed a ton of cars prior to having a clear bra added. His e-mail link is below. Super nice guy and really knows what he is talking about. (professional detailer)
