Question Cleaning Microfiber Towels

How do you guys clean your mf towels? I have the inexpensive variety from Target. I have been washing them separately in my washing machine with liquid detergent and air drying them. If they pick up bits of oak pollen or debris, it doesn't seem to come out in the wash. Any suggestings?

You want to use a microfiber detergent like Micro Restore. You add about 2 ounces to a full load and about a cup of vinegar and wash it with hot water. Dry on fluff; it may take a few cycles. And remember, no bleach, fabric softener, or dryer sheets. If you don't have Micro Restore, use any liquid detergent; just not too much. Avoid using powder detergent because the granules don't always dissolve thoroughly. Hope this helps guys.

Is it okay to wash them with the other dirty towels that accumulate from washing our cars?

Only wash microfibers with microfibers. Don't mix with other types. Also, don't mix the grunt towels with those touching the finish.
