Condition after polish?

So I have a black 997s and it had some swirl marks so I decide to hit it with a good wash and a porter cable polish. The swirl marks were pretty bad so I used the green pad by Adams first with the swirl remover by adams as well. Then I did the revive polish with the white pad which is the softest pad they make then hit it with the adams buttery wax. I'd have to say it got rid of 90% of the swirl marks and the car looked amazing just after the process. Now one week after and all the dust build up from driving on the SoCal roads I can see (at the right angle) the very small micro lines from the polisher. It's almost like a more even amount of micro swirl marks all over the car. It's not like it looks so bad. Anyhow is this normal and what should be my next step (if any) I want it as perfect as it can be. Any advice would be so helpful. Thanks guys. I'll take pics and post them in a bit.

What you're probably seeing is the pattern made by the polisher when there's dirt in the pad. Sometimes it looks like a pigtail pattern. If you're actually seeing swirls, then the polish and pad combo you have isn't correct. The DA does not create swirl as it's spinning and moving back and forth. My suggestion is to switch products and technique. Currently, Menzerna polishes are arguably the finest in the world. The reason being they contain high quality materials yielding you legitimate results the first time. You'd want to also get the Lake Country pads. Your best bet is Menzerna's Super Intensive Polish w/ Lake Country Orange CCS pad. Then follow it up, since you have a black car, with Menzerna Micro Polish, 106FF. You'll apply Micro Polish using Lake Country's White CCS pad. Then you're ready to polish and wax by hand. I hope this helps. Here's a thread of a client that did this very same steps and his comments

Gomez, I would have to say to try combining the Swirl and Revive and use the (Green/orange) orange side of the pad, work it in till its almost transparent it should give you better results. If you don't get the results you need you might need something like Menzerna 106ff (as Moe mentioned)

Drop me a call.

I look forward to your pictures.
