Some one from Belgium?
Some one from Belgium?
Good day!
Have few questions regarding Belgium. Im thinking to move from Estonia to Belgium, buy some property and take my buisness there.
Please advice some good propery websites, when I can find some house or appartment! It should be topclass.
What is the best place to live in belgium and have buisness?
What are car prices over there? vat (tax)?
Is it a good place to live and does there is a good night life?
Any additional information regarding belgium will be very appriciated!
Thanks in advance to all who reply to this thread!
Brgds,
Pavel.

Cheers!
Really good chocolate in Belgium - and really good beer too!!
Also it's near the Nordschliefe!
Sorry you probably know all that already - but you asked for additional information and that's the most important 3 things about Belgium IMHO.

Probably most of the practical info you are looking for can be found on Expatica.
Belgium isn't a bad place to live in my opinion. The weather isn't all that good but it has no extremes either: we don't have snowstorms or sandstorms over here but we do have a lot of rain.
For the automotive enthousiast it is also a mix of both worlds: we have one of the most beautiful historical racetracks in the world at Francorchamps. On the other hand we have a lot of speed limits (and the cameras to catch you if you decide to go over them). As already mentioned Belgium is not that far away from great locations like the Nurburgring, Le Mans, etc.
About setting up business: depends on what your planning to do here. The capital (Brussels) is probably the place where you want to be. Second in line would be Antwerp which is followed by the other major cities (eg Ghent). I'd open shop in the Brussels and/or Flemish area for sure. The Wallon (French speaking) area isn't ideal for business in my opinion.
