That is a damn big deal and a slap in the face to all of us car nuts. I've had quite a lot of wine, but if I've understood this correctly, foreign cars must meet German DMV criteria?!
They are practically labeling their track as private = insurance does not apply. I don't know a lot of Porsche owners wanting to track their 100+K EUR cars sans insurance ...
