360 CS Drifting Video--CRAZY
I don't know if you're being sarcastic. I think controlling the drift around the same circle takes a bit of throttle control and steering adeptness. I mean drifing itself of course is easy. But controlling it around a bend like that I can't imagine is "easy". Especially when owning a stradale. JMO.
This is even more sick:

It would have been better though if they used the real drifting sound instead of putting a music for background.

I went to drifting school and by the end of the day I was able to do the same thing that guy did in a 89 240SX that had a near bone stock motor with no power steering. Doing such a thing in a Ferrari with all that power would be considerably easier as long as you didn't put too much slip angle into it.
If you want to see real drifting skill watch Formula D when airs on ESPN towards the end of the year.
Its tricky but its not "OMG this guy has HUGE talent" tricky...

Your comparing the world's most forgiving drift car (240sx) to a hardcore racing machine. It is not the same deal.
Early model 240's have HORRIBLE understeer thats why it takes so much modification to make it into a competitive drift car...not as much mods as other cars but still a ton of mods none the less.
Having the engine in the back isn't the best placement for a drift car but it really only becomes a hinderance when you're drifting at high speeds...which this guy wasn't and he wasn't mashing the throttle and using only countersteer to control himself.
Like I said ..as long as you aren't too liberal with the throttle or countersteering its not that difficult. I'm sure its tricky but it doesn't take a tremendous amount of skill.
If I had a Ferrari to prove my point I'd do it but I'm not quite there yet

If you want to see REAL drifting in a RWD rear engine car then check this out the JIC Porsche GT2...

This car was purpose built for drifting and made a podium finish in one of its first times out
Yeah, I read up on that video and apparently it's the main street in Riyadh that is known for flaunting nice cars and this type of driving!
Pretty cool though.
