How long will the F430 be in production?
Does Ferrari run any sort of typical length of time before a new model is produced?

I think the next model year is the last because in 2008 the airbag waiver expires right?

Ferrari CANNOT continue production after 2008 per an agreement with the NHTSA (see link below and read the application by Ferrari). Why? Because Ferrari CANNOT retrofit the 430 to meet compliance.

The document is very clear on the issue. My dealer has confirmed that this what they've been informed by Ferrari as well.

The only remaining issue is whether production will cease after or before the annual August factory shutdown although the document suggests no more production after September 1st, 2008.
