I've got a 997 GT3RS - 90miles, awsome ...which f430 owner wants to trade? some q's..
Gang,
I have a three 2007 997 GT3 RS's. You can see them as well as a few other of my cars at www.911flatnose.com I wont waste too much time talking about the virtues of the RS but i personally thinks its THE best porsche ever built. I think the run-up and continued push higher in msrp markups sort of confirms this. They are pretty limited in production numbers, and they drive/sound/look phenomenal. I've had a number of nice pcars over the years. Back in the late 90s i had a ferrari or two. Im not sure if it was my lack of any patience, but i always seemed to have reliability issues. But it seems everyone is very stoked on the current 06/07 F430s. seems like performance and reliability are quite favorable. style is awsome. sound awsome. So my thought is to find someone with an F430 who is craving a gt3RS. rather than sell the 430 and get wholesale or less than retail, and then payup for an RS....lets trade/swap.(obviously adjusting for msrp/markups) but you get idea. if you have an interest, shoot me an email (steve@trademanage.com) or PM me and i'll get you my phone#. Thanks in advance. |
Wow you are a baller.

Your the guy with the bubble cars....hahaha GL 430 is great much more exciting to drive on the street
|
Whoa...

bubbles rule, if you have the space for them. when empty, my kids use them as a moon bounce. my son was in one of the cars the other day and pushed the door open and if not for that bubble balloon, it would have been ugly. they say you can throw a hammer at it from 30 feet away and the air cushion will prevent the hammer from touching metal. id love to see them test that with their own RS!
bubble trouble diverted

The GT3 RS is a super cool car but in the last track day a 430 was faster in the track and both had good drivers...

The last Porsche I had was 15 years ago which I sold to buy my first Ferrari I never seriously considered a Porsche until the RS (I'm on my 2nd RS).
I recently passed on an loaded (ceramics) 05 430 F1 Spider ($262K msrp for $285K). In southern California 430's are available if one is flexible with color and options. I've seen numerous 430's on the road, but never a RS. I guess a couple of each wouldn't hurt. |
I saw the "bubble cars" as well, didn't you have 5 GT3RSs at one time?
|
ummmm, yupper. that was i. orange not my color, nor was black. do LOVE the white, green and silver. but 3 is overdoing it big time i think. 2 is understandable. one for collection, one to drive hard.
