New F car

Last week I was driving my Porsche 73 Carrera RS. A lady pulled into my lane forcing me to bail out into a driveway. The car is totally original, panels, glass etc... I have not been able to drive the car since. If I don't drive them I have to sell them. A Friend of mine offered me more $$ than I could resist. The car is going over the pond. The weak dollar has won the battle.

To take the edge off selling a car I said I would never sell, I pulled the trigger on a 2001 360, 6 speed Challenge grill, Xenos, Sport seats, 12k Miles, Full 15K service and new clutch. Very nice car. The deal will be final when I return from Vacation in a couple of weeks. Will post more Pictures when I have her in the hangar.

Drove the car about 20 miles today. Not as fast as the 997 GT3 but a different feel. Brakes felt a little soft/weak. ( they are checking them ). The experience was one I think I can get used to. Looking forward to flogging on the test course around the house....

Any tips from the F car guy's would be helpful.
I feel like I am Cheating on my wife buying an F Car. Time will tell if it was all worth it....

Thanks in advance for any F car knowledge I need to be aware of.

Surprising to hear about brakes feeling "soft/weak". That is very unusual.

If that car has not been driven in a while it's possible the pads and rotors may need to seat in a little especially if they were replaced during the 15K service.

I'd have the pads checked, though, because I can tell you 360 brakes grab! I never experience any braking loss.

Maybe also that if the pads and rotors were replaced you need better bleeding of the system.

Brakes on 360's are good!

Beautiful car, nice wheels, and great color scheme.
