Ferrari Crash Malibu - Graphic Photos

I just came up on this crash this morning at 11:30am PST 12/02/07. The driver and passenger are in stable condition. Hopefully this wasn't a fellow Sixspeeder. Just a reminder to drive safely. To add insult to injury, the tow truck driver tried to flip the car back over, and it rolled the other direction, smashing it even more...it pained me to watch.

I wonder if the guy was going to the toys event in Westlake Village. Hopefully they'll be ok.

Wow! Looks like my old 360 (it isn't) but still makes me sick. Glad everyone lived!

Ouch. Hope they recovery easily. That tow truck driver looks like he is out of his league...should have called for help. Looking at the tire tracks it appears as if the driver lost if way before the approach to the right hander. What does the road do approaching the area?

jox Dec 2, 2007 02:10 PM

Damn. Glad he made it out alright.

(and it's "Copyright" by the way, Zuma ;)

A lot of you guys know this road, its after the first tunnel (called tunnel #3) coming from Agoura heading to Malibu. He was actually going uphill after just coming out of the first tunnel, a sweeping righthander uphill, he braked, I presume...because of the skid marks, crossed over center (managed to not head-on) hit the dirt enbankment drove up it and rolled over. That being said, I did not see it, just telling Y'all what I saw from the skid-marks. It is off-chamber going uphill.

OUCH..........once again at least everyone made it without serious injury. I hope it was no one on the six.

Footnote.....the truck driver just gave up and loaded it upside down? That should be interesting when he needs to unload huh.

oak Dec 2, 2007 02:20 PM

yup, across from the sunny side.

Boulder GT3 Dec 2, 2007 02:24 PM

Pretty good sign that the bags didn't deploy. Hopefully, the car lost a lot of energy on the dirt bank. I hope everyone is OK.
