No matter how many pics I see of the F40, I don't think I'll ever get sick of looking at it. The F40 is a timeless icon. I hope your friend enjoys it in good health. If he doesn't, have him give it to me!

That car is on the showroom floor at Ferrari of Orange County. Did not know it recently changed hands. It's been there for at least four or five weeks. My F40 (and a friend's) are being serviced there as we speak and that F40 was there when I dropped my car off in early December. Probably the only dealer in the country that has three F40s on the premises at one time! BTW ... your friend's car is a very nice example!

For those of you who love the F40 here are some very cool shots (compliments of Frank4cars.com) from last year's Monterey Historics where Ferrari celebrated the 20th anniversary of the F40. Seven of us (a dismal effort) made the trek to Monterey and did a few parade laps around Laguna Seca.

A friend of mine sent me this article about a guy who picked up his F40 and then immediately drove it across Europe.
