What a sound indeed! F40 sounded great, F50 was simply out of this world!

I saw an F40 on the highway last summer and it honestly has to be the loudest car I have ever heard, it definitely was not stock. When the guy took off into the distance and kind of disappeared a couple kms up the road I could no longer see it but I could hear it. Insane.

I gotta try to find the vid. There is another one where the F40 gets a full throttle fly by, unlike this one. Plus the F50 gets another. They both sound insane....

Second best, the 333SP sounds the best. Bar none....

 

Having spent a bit of time behind the wheel of both, the F50 sounds unlike any other road car I have experienced. It takes loud to a new level. When driving with friends, they can normally figure out where I am based on sound when we are out of sight. The F40 is different, well behaved under 3000 rpm but booms near redline with a great explosion when you lift off and it dumps the unburnt fuel into the exhaust.

 

Wow, the F50 is just spine tingling!

Reminds me a bit of the feeling you get with F-16 flyovers at football games. Awesome.
