And the 612 is a facelift of the 456M?


430 has a different engine, gearbox, suspension, braking system, interior, exterior, price, and name! The only thing it shares with a 360 is that both have a V8!

As ggh said, its like saying the 997 is a facelift of the 996.

I see the 430 as a facelifted 360, too.

Is the LP560 an entire new gallardo? New engine, suspension, transmission, name, brakes, bumpers, lights, etc...

Just as different from the original G as a 430 is from the 360.
Not that it makes any difference.

On the money, but I'd probably say 996 to 997 is new car even if they share a chassis (which I am not sure about). Completely new interior, exterior, etc.

430 is all 360 underneath the few external panel changes and a few cosmetic changes.

The replacement model is scheduled as a 2010 but it's not for sure.

You're aware the chassis is the SAME? As is the roof and like 75% of the parts?

Looks like someone needs to do some research if you think that is all they have in common.

Ferrari always does a facelift before a totally new car.

Much more than 75% of the parts are the same!

Ferrari was very smart in marketing the 430 as a "NEW" car!
It was not.

Few changes as in e-differential and body panels but that's it.

Don't be fooled. GM has been doing it for years.

Everybdy does it, and there is nothing wrong with "updating" a car. It just amuses me how many think the 430 is "new" when compared to a 360.

Agreed, there really is nothing wrong with that. I will say that I think the F430 is a much better car, and that's all the owners or potential owners should think about. Who cares what is shares? But in the end it is definitely an updated 360 (which is fine because the 360 was a very special car).
