I figured it out...He has an enzo and the tag on it says enzo. He bought the ferrari in question and couldn't afford to register it so he uses the tag enzo off of his enzo to drive it around so it looks legal and he doesn't have to pay to register it.

I'm so bored at work : )

I once saw a 360 spider with a New York tag that read "Enzo" as well. This was before the Enzo was released. My only reasoning as to why he chose that was to pay respect to the great Enzo Ferrari.
