I'm trying hard to like this car because of it's badge and because of the love I have for Ferrari, but it's just not working out. I think the interior is sexy, but the rear just looks too different. Looks like a Lexus IS-F with a 599GTB smashed together. The wheels are also hideous (remind me of the base 612 wheels).

Also, what are those two huge white lights? Reverse lights?

Those wheels are 20inch's in size,but they look small (And ugly). Which means the the California is probably the same size as the 612. The exhaust is'nt bad at all,its very easy just change pipes,anyways.

 

I don't feel it. The rear end looks funky. IMO, but no front end shot?

 

Actually I look at the front end of this photo from their main site and I like it. Here check out the front end. It's very nice.

They screwed up the rear. Some points..

I hate the black bar that houses the reverse lights. Looks out of place/stupid/ ugly etc. However, if you picture the car without it , you see that it would make the back look very tall, bland and blah, for lack of a better word.
The exhaust looks awful.

Overall its looks like a beautiful car when you see it only from the front. The pic of the blue version above is very nice. Front end is aggresive and sleek, the headlights work well, and even the wheels don't look so bad from that angle.

The interior looks fantastic! A scaled down of that from the 599GTB. I'd buy one just for that interior. The wheel, the seats, the dash layout all work so well together and I can't find a modern car with a more appealing interior.
The engine looks right too!

If they could alter the rear, and make it a coupe, it would rival the 430 as my one true love.

 

I agree with you guys on the rear because I hate the tail lights. Her rear end needs a make over. hhaha

The 3/4 shot from the rear is the problem I'm having. It screams 2002 Hyundai Tiberon. That being said, I am sure it's a far different look in person.
