Spec is infamous around these parts
I've done some research on the 360's and after talking to a couple owners. Most of them say the newer the better of course. But also one guy said that buying one with 25-30k miles saves you alot of money especially if you plan to really do some driving throughout the ownership. But what do I know. I drive a nissan.

In my humble opinion, being a Ferrari owner, I have to say find a car 2002+ with 8-10K on the clock, one that has history that you can trace, also in my opinion, 6 speed, either red or black, I would stay away from *off colors* such as yellow, blue etc., they are hard to sell. Also a 6 speedis far more rare and hence hold more value (only 20% of 360 production was 6 speed). What is your budget?

Brian (Kings Power) has given good advice here.

Stay away from the F1. It's a clever idea not not functionally relaible long term. It eats clutches. Stay with the 6 speed.

There's a great deal you can do to the 360 to improve it's overall handling as Brain has done.

They are great cars but not something I'd drive every day. Maintenance becomes an issue, and it gets costly. Timing belts are the big concern every 3 years of 30,000 miles, and you know which comes first.

If you need a daily driver look to something else. For pure fun and enjoyment you can't duplicate Ferrari.

I was just in the same place 3 weeks ago

looking for a 360. Almost all the cars I looked at were F1's. After driving the car I actually found it to be a little slow. I ended up buying a Gallardo. I still want to be a ferrari person but I'm going to wait until I can really afford to step up and buy a 430 scud or the new 460. Good luck in your search
