Great stance, looks good to the eye...Are there any owners out there with driving impressions/comments? Just wondering what the ride is like. Similar to stock, much firmer, or somewhere in between?

Fabryce and GMG,
Many Thanks for great service and a great product! The springs were rushed out to me and all my questions were answered in a timely, knowledgable manner. This is by FAR the best money spent on my F430. A perfect balance between ride comfort and sharper handling, IMHO

My car was lowered simply by adjusting the stock coilovers. There is no noise or rattle. Ride is good also. There are no blown out dampers either.

Something to keep in mind also...the US version sits higher than that of the Euro version so there is definitely some room to play with as far as what the stock dampers should be able to handle IMO if you plan on lowering it some.

Now it's possible that over time...the dampers can indeed eventually go out...who knows.

But one last thing to remember...most Ferrari owners such as myself don't put too many miles on the car in the first place.

Just thought I'd share my experience with lowering from the stock coilovers.

F430 Rod

Thanks for the input --

Im curious how much did you lower your vehicle? As we have had several cars in over the years with that have had the coils turned down and 8 out of 10 have had issues with dampers leaking.

Sure you can turn it down slightly... I agree - Its just not "right" way to lower a car..
No offense..

Keep in mind that the springs on Euro cars are different than the USA spec cars as well.

Curious how many miles do you drive your F430 yearly?.. With the improved reliability of these cars most of our clients are driving and enjoying them. In fact I have one particular client that is coming up on 73k miles on his 430....

Its not often that I see a low mileage garage queen these days...

OEM linear springs are terrible super soft and the front facia hits the ground terrible at medium to hi speed even at OEM ride height,I changed the OEM spings for some harder springs and lowered and the change was night and day, my ride height is 1 finger tire to fender and no rubbing any more. But since the new springs are linear comfort is not the best so I will like to try GMG springs but i am afraid that the front facia will hit the ground again because my set up is lower (1 finger)
In terms of LBS how much harder are GMG ? I know this is not easy to determine since they are prog and not linear springs I just want to have an idea.

I had issues bottoming out my front facia at medium to high speeds as well, at OEM ride height(and I don't even track my car). This surprised me because the car sits so high at stock height. I was hesitant to lower it with ANY springs because of this. After installing the GMG progressive rate springs and lowering my car 20 mm, I have had no issues with grounding the front end. They do exactly what they are suppose to do, comfortable for around town, but under load, they firm up significantly.

Good news I plan to get a -10mm ride height from what you have right now.
They also work in Scuds?

I find that it is not the springs that really need to settle after lowering a vehicle, the whole assembly needs to seat together. I do find after I lower a 430 or any car for that matter, that even after I put it on the ground, the springs needs to sit on the perch and "settle in"

I think we are all using "settle" with different meanings. Either way, I just go around the block with the car and around a few corners and to me, it is perfect.

So I guess, that settles it... hahahah... sorry.
