360 vs f430 vs 997 GT3

I have to say I was leaning towards an 07 GT3, however the prices I have seen on Ferrari's have come way down recently. Basically 360's are similar in cost to GT3's. F430's obviously more. Which is best car for occasional road use and 8-10 track days per year? Which is fastest around a track in the right hands? Any links to comparison tests? Thanks.

You can't begin to compare a 360 with any Porsche with a GT in the front of it's name. Go drive them all, than make a decision.

if you are doing that many track days i'd vote GT3. I would feel bad putting a F430 or 360 on the track that often. I know they are more than capable, but they are just such nice cars, I wouldn't want to destroy them. A GT3 is ready for the track.

Gt3 is the fastest if You are good driver. If an average then 430 with paddles might be faster. 360 is very beautiful car but it is much older than 430 and Gt3, and therefore much slower.

It might matter to some, Ferrari gives 2 year warranty and Pcar come with 4, and if it's CPO (like both of mine) 2 years plus the original 4. I like that, gives reassurance to a cheap fella like me to drive them as much as I can...
Insurance is another thing, Pcars tend to be cheaper than Ferraris, pending on type of use and profile, naturally.
This all may be irrelevant. IMHO there is very little logic in buying sports cars or having children. They are small, not practical, loud, generates discussion with your better half and we still have and love them without explanations!

Thanks for the info. I Will go drive them, however I tend to agree that the GT3, I expect, will be best for my intended use.

I have not driven a GT3, but I have a Turbo, a week ago I drove my cousins F430. I loved the sound and the posh interior, BUT the turbo is faster.

the GT3 is clearly the fastest, but at a track day, you aren't winning anythihng, you are looking for experience. My 360 is extremely rewarding to drive, even though it is the slowest of those 3. If resale is important, I think the 360 has seen most of its depreciation already, so in a couple years, it will be worth more than the GT3.
