congrats on the purchase man....i also drove both cars ( both 05) and i liked the ferrari a bit better....it just has that feel that no other car has....though i must say i love both cars....looking forward to pics

 

I agree with my friend the next car is the LP640. Any suggestions from the crowd? The partnership works great. Both parties have to give a **** about the car and have other toys and money to burn. Not that we are rich but we do like the cars. Ferrari is a different animal than the 911 turbo because the motor is so pleasant to hear. We installed a custom escort plus an alpine amp and subwoofer to improve the ****ty radio.

It stopped just fine on the teeny tiny stock brakes but now it is pretty hard core. I had to re position my ears back from my nose area to the side of my head.

 

they say ferrari performance is way better. Just facts from magazines, hope to have one in 3 years or so.

Just put on the P43's by HRE in satin blk with the center cap in yellow with Horse in black. Went with a wider rear in 305 tire. Wrapped in ps2's.

Car looks a bit more angry now. We like it. I will start a new post with photos once I have the car back in my garage.

How do you go about upgrades and stuff, like if you wanted to put some new wheels or exhaust on it but your partner didn't really want to would that be it, or would you pay for all of it. Do you split everything 50/50?

 

My brother has an '06 F430 with manual transmission with the same combination in the seats as yours. The difference is that his carpets are red and it also looks awesome in those colors, as yours does too. Fantastic car for sure!

 

We have done 50/50 on prior cars but on this one, I was tapped out bc I have one extra toy I own which is a Viper which I let him drive some at the track. Since I improved the viper with exhaust, wheels, moton clupsports and some other goodies, I was tapped out so we did the F car 60/40 where he has more ownership.

I was perfectly happy with the car as it was when we bought it but he wanted the big breaks and new wheels/tires and k24 built in among some other things so he paid for them. When selling time comes we just part it out and take back to 100% original except for the k24 and some stereo stuff he did as you never get much $ value for those mods as we learned in the last car we owned/sold. We got about 7k more by selling off the mods on the side and taking that car back to stock.
