What do you guys think about this car and having a non-dealer doing a major service? I spoke to them and the car sounds clean.

if you could I would step up to the 430.. better car, no timing belts to change.

Hiro is infamous around these parts
It's a beautiful car, and price looks decent as well. I think as long as the service is done by a credible/experienced Ferrari mechanic than there should be no issue. If you have the name of the company that did the major service, maybe you can ask around Fchat and see what the members have to say about it.
