The car looks great. Is the film cut precisely before applying to the car? Or is trimming done on the car with a blade? Kind of a scary thought having a blade being used so closely to the paint...

Hey Apex177, the vehicle is literally wrapped with vinyl and the excess is trimmed at the seams and wrapped around the edges. A blade is used to trim at the seams to prevent the blade from coming in contact with the paint. Years of experience, lots of patience, and tricks of the trade come into play for trimming the difficult areas.

what if your car already has a full clear bra on the hood, bumper, fenders etc. Does the wrap cause problems on the clear bra when it is removed?

Kennyjr748, we can apply the wrap over the clear bra, but once the wrap is removed you will need to remove the clear bra. The adhesives from the vinyl wrap will affect the transparency of the clear bra.

Thanks for the info, I always wondered about that. How does the wrap compare to the ventureshield clear bra in terms of paint protection?

Most vehicle are wrapped with a 5 mil vinyl. We use a 8 mil (Ventureshield) Clear Vinyl for our Clear Vinyl Wraps. The Clear Vinyl Wrap will give you more paint protection.

Thanks for the reply. We closed our shop in Huntington Beach in August of 2008 and we are running all of our product out of our San Diego location.
