The interior is just hideous.
The exterior is modern, sleek, sexy, different, innovative.....should I keep going?

 

just saw one. it was awesome. all i have to say is reserve judgement until you actually see one in the flesh.

 

I had a few complaints with the exterior when I first saw it on the internet, but when I saw it in person I completely changed my mine. It's a gorgeous machine in person.

 

It is definitely a different design for Ferrari, but to drive the car will change anyone's opinion about it. This engine and its constant onslaught of power from low revs to top end is really amazing, and the dual clutch gearbox delivers uniterrupted power. Obviously I like this car a bit, but it really is a different animal than any Ferrari before it. IMHO it doesn't feel like a raw drivers car as the 430 Scuderia does, it feels like it is meant for the person who is not a great driver, there is more tech help, which is a downside, but overall it is a great car, at least that is my 2 cents.

 

The exterior styling is well done, just not my cup of tea - I grew up with and love the longer/flatter back slope of cars like the P4s and GT40s and 917s, and as carried into steet cars in the 360 and 430. The Italia's Enzo like "protruding coc kpit" profile just isn't quite for me although I can understand the styling que-evoking the overall profil of the F1 cars - clever. But despite my likes, I can see that the car is striking in person. The direct injection engine has roughly 10% more power than the 430 Scuderia which is definately a feelable amount, so it is desreable as well. But I really dislike the center exhaust (dual duals for me, thank you very much) . . . and the three pipes? Gimmicky.

Still, I bought my very late F430 for the styling and mostly because, though difficult, I was able to get a manual 6 speed -- just want to shift my own gears.

 

That car can be the best car in the world in terms of driving but it is just so ugly. What is Ferrari thinking lately with the Cali and now this? The 599 is a beautiful GT car why cant they have more cars that look that good.

 

Sorry i dont know what all the hate is all about but this car is PURE SEX inside and out!

I just waited for the new top gear episode and as expected, Clarkson loves its looks. Really ridicilous is, that he actually says it is much prettier than a F430 or 360 and he puts it above the iconic F40, that´s hi la ri ous. I tell u, if that car would wear a Porsche badge he would be bashing its looks till the end of time, FACT! His prejudices are sooo obvious.

 

I was torn on the looks until I saw it in person. It's freaking stunning, there was a 430 right behind it, looking pretty but quite dated.

Last NICE affordable Ferrari was the 355... The 360/430/458 are horrible inmo, although with the 458 out, Ill now take a 430.

hmm its a waste of a pretty car.. But as long as the driver was ok im happy to say he deserves it.
