thanks for posting ... i guess those guys in abu dhabi have money to burn. i can't imagine this is going to be a huge money maker but it's still way better use of the ferrari name than those stupid laptops.

 

This has been in the works for a while now. I wonder if they're still going to pursue it since Dubai is taking a financial hit these days.

 

Dubai borrowed a lot of money from Abu Dahbi so they could grow as fast as possible and are now having to pay it back, which with the economic downturn is proving to be very hard on Dubai. I think Abu Dahbi is trying to set themselves up to be a tourist/business destination, as well when the economy comes back.

IIRC Abu Dahbi is about an hour away from Dubai, going to have to go back when they are finished/the economy comes back.
