f430 with Big Brembo kit?

Any pics of f430 with big brembo brake kits. I'm thinking of changing out my standard brakes to 380mm brembo 6 piston for both rear and front. What ya all think? Do or don't do?

I was thinking about doing the same upgrade. I am sure this upgrade will improve braking for track use, but for streets, those big rotors seem heavy and might reduce acceleration speed. Does anyone know the weight for Brembo's 380mm rotors compared with the stock 13" & 13.8" rotors?

The 380x32mm disc is a lightweight 2pc. full floating assembly with a billet aluminum hat... weighing in at only 19.2 lbs each.

The OEM 13" (330mm) one piece cast iron discs should actually weight in at roughly 19lbs as well, so there should be no significant change in rotational weight of the discs.

Guys at Vivid are great to work with. Just last week, I ordered 6 pistons rear and front gt brembo kit in red with black ferrari logos for my f430. I got a great deal too! I'll post some pics once installed.

Didn't know you could order it with the Ferrari Logo. I ordered mine through a local distributor and it's coming with the standard Brembo logo. Does anyone know what's involved in putting the Ferrari logo on instead ? Does the brake calibers need to be completely disassembled to get it repainted ? I understand Brembo actually silkscreen the logo on and the put a clear coat over it. Thanks,

Before you could order from Brembo with F decals. But now I belive Brembo stop doing that for some reason. I'm having Vivid repaint my new caliper and apply F decals and put 2 coats of clear coat. I've done this on my prior 997 and it came out great. Just like stock. Brake calipers have to be completely disassembled to have it repainted.

Yes they do that is sort of an issue with this set the painter gave them back to us with one coat of clear so these will ship thursday maybe friday.

They look good though. Typically it takes us two days to get them completed.
