i just traded my 997.2tt pdk for italia. Do it. I also own f430 as well. Fun factor of driving F car is much higher compared to Porsche. Even though my tt pdk was faster than f430, I took out f430 more often. My pdk tt was only exciting when I gave her full throttle from dig. But it gets old after awhile. But F cars are fun to drive in any rpm range. And Italia is really huge step up from f430. Just my opinion though.....

Plus there is just something special about the Ferrari.

easy decision .. yes yes yes, trade it in. i just read that by 2018, prosche plans to sell 200k cars a year. yup a year. they're all going to be like hondas and toyotas pretty soon.

We (Wheels Boutique) just acquired a new California (came out of a Murci) The F car is amazing in so many ways. needs a few things to be killer. Wheels/Springs and exhaust and the ride is totally transformed to one amazing looking F-Car that is waaay better than the P-car (in certain ways)

California feels numb compared to a Porsche Turbo..... If your considering an F430 or even a 360 I would say do it.... but California? I wouldn't do it.

The california sounds like it fits all your needs

So go for it. I actually did not like the California much after driving it. It did everything well, but there was not much emotion involved in the drive, In a way I guess its kind of similar to the turbo. It really is capable of being a daily driver which I think was its intended purpose but for my 200k plus I want something that makes my blood pressure go up a bit and the Cali did not do that for me

Yes I have driven the California and I didn't get anything from it. Felt as I said, numb. Got back into my turbo after and that was where i wanted to be. I think it's nothing like a 997 turbo either.

But I just can't imagine how happy I will be by trading in the amount of money that I could get a used California/430 over a Turbo/S. 991 is coming out, 997.1 997.2 is too identical. I know it's fast but so what? It will never have the sensation over a F car. If you have the budget, would you do it? Always wanted an open top, always want the dual clutch and newer car design over the 430.
I am going through the same dilemma now. Have a 2010 997.2 Turbo and thinking of trading for an 08/09 430 or possibly a Scud.
I will be driving the Cali out of curiosity this weekend but have the feeling it will not give me an adrenaline rush.

I totally agree and will confirm this fact this weekend when I test drive it.
