Mansory, not a bad word

My opinion; this is one of Mansory's best. There are a couple of pieces I'd personally "adjust" or maybe not use at all, but relative to other packages mansory has done, his miserable Aston Vantage package comes to mind, this one is great.

Louvers, like em...liked em when I first saw em, late 1960s on a Lambo.

PennywiseG35S is infamous around these parts
They have a yellow/black one in the new issue of European car, I think it looks tacky. I think the factory did such an excellent job that it is going to be very difficult for anybody to improve on the cars looks.

what a waste of a 458, it should be a crime to do this to such a great car. The designer should be shot for even touching it.

This is a rough crowd

Somebody thinks Mansory cars look good, afterall he is still in business. Year after year somebody is buying them.

In the distant past, say the 50's and 60's, people who bought expensive, odd looking one offs, or flashy unusual customs were movie people. Show business types with plenty of money who wanted "look at me" transportation. These were impressive cars for people who knew nothing about cars.

Taking a second look at it... I don't think it's too bad.

Still not liking the louvers, but the 458 is not my favorite Ferrari (not really fond of its looks). I prefer the F430/430S appearance a LOT more.

Choices to ponder

jaspergtr. These are horseback numbers, but are directionally correct.

The carbon fibre louver assy probably weighs 5#, maybe a bit more. The OE backlite glass, about 30#.

If I could have either as a no cost option on a new 458 I would take the louvers and the weight save.

But if I have to deal with Mansory, buy his gf assy, and then a glass shop to make the swap I would be looking at a $10k bill. Then I would stay with the heavier glass.

To see just how fine a 458 can be review this thread, below:
Ferrari 458 silver on black HRE P40S. Outstanding.

A great photographer helps as well.
