Fabspeed 458 Performance Package
Fabspeed 458 Performance Package
Hello Everyone,
Since I have been reading quite a few threads about new 458 owners, I wanted to reintroduce the Fabspeed 458 Performance Package. Fabspeed was one of the first companies in the world to develop a full exhaust system for the 458. Our Performance Package includes: Sport Headers, Catalytic converters, mufflers, dual tips, and ECU upgrade. We measured a 67whp increase over a stock 458 on our dyno.
Of course, these components are available separately, and we saw some impressive gains in sound and power from the headers and sportcats in particular. The factory headers, which are a poor design and have shown to fail, should be the first component to go. Our headers weigh in at 13 pounds lighter than stock and produced an additional 34 hp. The sport cats were good for another 24 hp. The mufflers were designed mostly for weight savings since they do not have a valved bypass system. If you prefer the adjustable sound of the factory muffler, you can keep that and still change the headers and cats. Also keep in mind that you can use our larger, dual outlet tips or you can retain the stock triple tips.
Pricing for the components and packages can be seen on our website below. Please PM me if you are interested and I will offer you a special forum price.

Very impressive, even considering the tighter emissions regulations on new cars.
Nearly 520whp on that car should really wake it up. Would love to see some 1/4 times and traps with this set up

Personally I like the sound more of the second set of fly-bys with the headers/cats/ stock muffler.
I know it wasn't making as much power but to me, that was best sound. The addition of your muffler pushed the sound a few octaves lower and eliminated the F1 like wail.
Of course this is all just my opinion

I actually agree with you. I also think most of our customers will like to keep the functionality of the stock muffler valves in conjunction with the manettino. The main benefit of our mufflers is the weight savings, but I think the factory mufflers are the best choice.

One other Q; Won't changing the ECU void the factory warranty?
Just curious because when Ferrari plugs in,,, they virtually know everything.
Beautiful set up by the way.
Where do you think the numbers would lie with running your headers, cats, ECU mods and the stock exhaust?

The stock muffler is not very restrictive, so I think the reduction in power would be limited to only a few HP. Regarding the ECU... if you bring your brand new tuned 458 into a "mod unfriendly" dealer, then you could have a problem. Each dealership is different, but there are a few out there that work with us directly on ECU tunes. Keep in mind that we can always put the stock file back in before you go to the dealer for warranty work.
