Help needed: Value of 1980 308 GTBi/Appraisal

The big question, what's it worth?

I am the owner of a 1980 Ferrari 308 GTBi...not the GTS targa, this is a REAL hardtop for a real sports car, one of 23 made in 1980 and one of 487 GTBi's ever made.

here is some info on the car:
28k miles
5 speed
Rosso Red exterior-from 10ft it looks perfect, but up close has a lot of spider web cracks on it and could use a respray
Black interior, seats were replaced with period correct recaros-MINT
Wheels replaced with period correct Magnesium BBS E-501's-MINT
Emissions equipment removed
Blaupunkt stereo-doesn't work, don't know why
Window motors work, but are very slow
Steering is good
Transmission is good
Engine needs a tune up-previous owner babied it, but I have barely driven it in the 20 years I have owned it, and sort of neglected the maintanance, so it will need a tune up to be running perfectly.

Thank's for any input guys, the reason I need to know a price is because my friend has been wanting to buy it forevere, money is not an issue for him, but ofcourse he is my friend and don't want to screw him....I just want a fair price.

I would go on ferrarichat.com and look around. They have a wealth of information on the cars and what the market is. They are also very helpfull over there so I would start there. I would also do some research on crags list/auto trader. Lastly I would call a dealership to see what kind of number they would put on it if they bought it outright from you. I dont know the value but hopefully my suggestions will help you get what youre looking for.

Using Hagerty's valuation tool, it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $14k-$16k.
