Ferrari 250 GTO Crashes in France

Read about it here: Ferrari 250 GTO Crashes in France

The rarity and value of this car makes this one of the most "expensive" crashes in history. The incident occured in France where the car was attending the Le Mans Classic. Everyone is fine, but it's still unfortunate to hear news like this.

This is why I could never buy one of these... As pretty as they are, I'd never be able to drive it (because of the 1000s of things that could possibly go wrong).

I hate the concept of a garage queen. But I hate the thought of losing a 250 GTO even more.

Jim Jaeger owns one and actually shows up at cruise ins driving it. Everyone always thinks its a replica. The last car you'd expect to see driving around Cincinnati. Interesting car, it was raced with a 4 liter and then he converted it back to it's original 3 liter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEkb4C5zvA4
