This certainly begs the question. Is there a "Special Client" program for the "dedicated and passionate clients" of Porsche? I've purchased two in the last three years. I know that some of you have purchased even more P-cars over the years. Some of you have shelled out a lot more for even one CGT. I don't feel the love from these folks. Who here has a voice over there at PCNA? Yell it from the rooftops. I think we've got to be about the most passionate P-car group I'm aware of.

I think it's ugly....Enzo looks much better. This looks like the work of a 10th grader doodeling with an Enzo pic during algebra.

AND.....I would be pretty pissed off if I had one of the 399 Enzo's built and Ferrari pulled this on me.

4 Years ago at Cavallino Classic i was able to sit in it. Since then it has been my utmost favorite. only thing that is any bit close is the 330 P4 but that is a totally different car altogether

The people they are targeting probably all own at least a couple Enzo's each so it's the same group of people. Enzo's are selling for almost double their sticker price. How would you be pissed if you bought an Enzo and it's worth $500K more now then what you paid for it? 20 more cars won't affect the supply/demand for Enzo's much, especially since these cars are RETAILING for $2MM with taxes. The people that buy them won't be flipping them and selling them on the open market. You may find one or two for sale in the next 3 years.

The only reason to be pissed is because you
a) think this depreciates your car

that's not correct because an Enzo is still worth over sticker

b) you would have waited and gotten this had you known it was coming out

that doesn't work either because without having bought an Enzo there's no way you could get one of these.

c) you bought an Enzo for $1.5MM from a broker and wish you could have gotten this for an extra $300K

Same issue as with 'b', if you couldn't get on the original MSRP list for an Enzo you sure as hell aren't going to be able to get on the list for this.

Personally - I'm always happy when a new supercar comes out that raises the bar, and this one certainly does that. However, considering it's not street legal, it's not as great an achievement as it could be.

All I have to say is Wow! Imagine what that thing must drive like. I hope some magazine one day gets their hands on it for a test run (not likely) so I can at least experience it 2nd hand. Wonder what the it's Ring time will be?

I'm sure the local guy who put his Maser MC12 and Enzo and F50GT( 1 of 2 ) on the showroom floor of the new local Ferrari dealership he helped to open with some of his own $$$ a couple months ago will get one . Hasn't he already had to have his F50GT " rebuilt " by the factory a few times after track " excursions ".

to be honest, looks like a gimmick to get some extra cash for ferrari and to involve their VIP clients in something special.

they have more than enough test drivers - and if they didn't there are plenty of professionals frothing at the mouth to test for ferrari.

nah, it looks like the work of a bunch of people with PhD's and years of race car engineering experience. Being a guy with a PhD and years of aerospace engineering experience, I can appreciate the beauty in it. Maybe one day I can get some race car engineering experience.

Why, this is not a Enzo, this is a Enzo GT. Also IIRC Ferrari built another Enzo number 400 which was going to be auctioned off for the Tsunami appeal.
