believe engine removal is required for A LOT of maintenance. a friend of mine has one that recently had an engine fire. i had heard 12k/yr for routine i believe (the highest of all late-ish models). that's the reason for the affordable price of what i consider the first badass looking modern ferrari. although too small of a car for my taste.

 

Maybe no more than $900 a year for fluid changes/flushes. Major engine out service is every 4 years or so, costs about $6000 depending on where you go. You can cut corners to reduce the price a little more.

wow, that's way less. perhaps what i had heard included failures, brakes, clutches, insurance, etc.

 

I believe my friend's 348 needs engine out service every 4-5 years, and yes, it'll run you $6-7K every time. I would assume the cost on a 355 is essentially the same.

 

wonder what the annual average of repair plus wear and tear is...
