Questions around F430

I saw this on cars.com
It seems like a very good deal for a 2007 model with 19k miles. Is there anything wrong with it? I am a newbie with Ferraris.

I don't know why it has a black stripe in the back tail lights. The other 2005-2006 models I found are solid colors near the tail lighs.

Like this one

This 2007 does not have the black stripe in the rear tail lights

Are the rims in the second link OEM Ferrari? I have seen the 5 spoke (1st and 3rd link) but not sure about the 2nd link.

The black stripe on the first link is the optional Challenge grille. I prefer 430s with this option.

The wheels in the second link are Challenge wheels. Both are factory options (not aftermarket).

Happy hunting.

Looks like a beautiful car. World-Wide Ferrari (seller) has been around for a long time. As with all such purchases, a PPI is recommended. I wonder how many 6 speed manual F430s were made? I would guess that most had the F1 gearbox.

They just raised the price on the silver one from $119k to $127k

What is the Challenge? Aesthetic or modifications to the engine?

I can't seem to find any white manuals.

My understanding is that the Challenge Stradale had carbon ceramic brakes (from the Enzo), a track tuned suspension, aerodynamic enhancements, weight reduction, power improvements (engine modiciations) and revised gearbox software for quicker gear changes.

The Challenge Stradale was the more race oriented version of the 360 Modena. Lacrosse pointed out most of the differences. For the F430, the Scuderia is the "racier" version.

The carbon rear for the F430 is purely aesthetic (might have slightly better cooling).

Good luck finding a manual in white. I don't think they made too many. Rarely see F430s in white (except the Scuderias).

Can't you just get a well priced one and paint it white? Or is it not the same as factory paint?

Do you owners prefer the coupe or convertible?
