F430 question on CCB system

I am looking to buy a 2006 or 2007 F430 spider F1, a few that I have found have the ceramic brakes, I have been told that I should stay away from them being they are expensive to replace, and I don't need them for street use... any of you have the ceramic brakes? any issues? should I sstay away from the cars with these brakes? thank you

thxbuff2001 is infamous around these parts
Practicality, you dont need them for street use. Its more for the track. If you use them in the street, you would probably would not ever replace them. So if you buy one and not use them in the track, you are safe.

If you track them often, not just once a year, you will end up replacing them. And they are $20000. But, you can use the brembo CCB as replacement and they would cost 10K. They are smaller but still fit and has no effect on performance.

If I were buying again an F430, a CCB is not a necessity but would not make me stay away from it.

Subscribed to learn more but you might want to revise the title of your thread. It is rather open ended and could keep those that have additional info on CCB away from the thread.
