Hey yall i am a 996tts owner... my boy owns an old 83 mondial QV... he wants to ditch it... I know its had eletrical problems and he is the only owner of it... My question is simple...its a coupe black on tan...what are they worth....and does anyone make racing stuff for it...as i would want to make it decently as quick as the 996tt...

You can easily make the Mondial as fast as your TT.

okay you laughing at me...why... I have no idea about ferrari's i know about porsches and lambo's but not ferrari's so please tell me this chip and stuff.

 

They're not worth a lot. There's one for like $25k on Autotrader.

240 bhp...it's not nearly as quick as a 996TT, I would imagine, and would probably take a ton to get faster, but still not as fast as the 996TT.

Also...I hear Ferrari's of all years have nasty maintenance prices.

I have never owned a Ferrari, but it doesn't seem like this one is a good one to pick up. It could be me, and I could be totally wrong...but I wouldn't spend time or money on it.

 

you would probably be better off purchasing a 360 and working on it wether that or an engine swap...the Mondial is a 7.6 second car....and much heavier than the 996tt

 

so what good are they then...just to like cruise with... I mean i am sure someones got a supercharger or turbo kit made for one of those things... That with some suspension and stuff could make it a killer car... I was told by ferrari that they are bulletproof cars...is that true?
