After owning a 2000 360, I would never buy a F1/tiptronic gearbox again. If you are really into driving your car, the F1 gearbox is SOOOO boring. I felt so disconected from the car. It might as well be an automatic. Not only that, the reliability was a joke. If they offered the CS in a stick, I would buy one in a second.

 

Wow tough choice. I'd have to go for the F-Car though.

How many are projected to come to the US? There were supposedly only a few hundred US spec CS, I'll have to look up the exact #.

I'd be very surprised if the GT3RS were not faster on track; I disagree to some extent about relative reliability. I suspect maintenance costs will be higher with the CS - however, the 360 engines seem to me to have been pretty durable in track use.

I don't think you could go wrong with either car. It's silly, but the prospect of a sunroof on the US Porsches turns me off.

 

I called my local dealer to inquire about a deposit on the GT3RS. They told me that they are looking at getting an allocation of 1 to 2 RSs and some dealers will not get any allocation.
