Looked like a case of cold tires to me. Every time he opened the throttle in a lower gear it was sideways. The vid started as he comes out of the pits and only runs 5 min or so, not enough time to get heat in the tires, esp on a cool day.

and they probably use race compounds that have good warmup times too

The first lap was really slow, the second faster but it was my first time in that track with that car.
This video was made just to have fun and not to make the record lap.
Infact every time I went out from a turn I pushed it to make it sliding.

Guys it looked more like he was out there giving a joy ride to someone. I do not think he was out there trying to set a lap record. Just by judging his driving he does not seem like he lacks knowledge, just that he was giving whoever was sitting in the passenger seat a fun ride. I do this at times when I am instructing and am told to take spectators for rides. I go out and show them a good safe time rather than trying to break my own fastest laps. In any case, insane car and very cool video.
