F430, it's what's for dinner
|
get out the skewers, we're having horse for dinner tonight!
Seriously though, that's sad. My car had an engine fire and I was lucky enough to put it out before it spread anywhere. Only damage luckily was to the wiring and hoses. Had my car gone up in flames like that F-car, I'd probably just have walked into traffic lol |
WOW, that looks like a crash, rather than just an engine fire. What a shame.

There is a car?? Who is the babe in the background?
|
She wasn't the passenger!

Thats an old pic, seems like there for awhile the F cars were "burning" up every few weeks or so. |
how sad, what would happin in this case? insurance pays out? or ferrari send a new car?
|
Been there, albeit in a cheaper model. Silver Ferrari on fire. I sat by the side of the road in a rural location for half-an-hour while I waited for the volunteer fire department to arrive, and watched it burn to the ground. 20'-30' flames engulfed the entire car, front-to-back. Sucked.

It's nothing new for F-cars to burn up. A friend of mine had his go up in flames on the 241 toll road in SoCal... granted it was after a small colission that resulted in taking down a steel light pole, but w/e. The pics of it are up on wrecked exotics. Not much left to even tell what type of car it was.
He was also burned pretty bad, had to kick out the windshield to get out, etc. |
