the Quattroporte Sport GT S specs are below as released by Maserati North America, the first car will be here in January 2008 and they haven't released the pricing yet:
Exterior
* Paint: Nero Carbonio
* Polished 20" wheels
* Shadowline / Dark Grey exterior trim
* Red brake calipers
Interior:
* Black interior leather w/ Black Alcantara surfaces
* Carbon Fiber interior
* Red stitching
In an effort to offer a sportier and more aggressive version of the Sport GT, the Sport GT S will be equipped with the following features.
Chassis:
. The Sport GT S will no longer have the Skyhook suspension and will instead have a much firmer and lower ride height:
o 25% increase in ride firmness
o Lowered by nearly ½ inch in the front and 1 inch in the rear
. The braking system has been considerably upgraded:
o The front Rotors increase in diameter to 14.17 inches
o The front Calipers increase in size and now have 6 pistons
instead of 4
Exterior:
. The chrome exterior pieces will be replaced with the following:
o Door handles will be body-color, while other chrome pieces will
be dark grey/shadowline, including exhaust pipes
. The current 20" wheel can be ordered in one of 3 variants:
* "Polished" version
* Light Grey Powder coat finish
* Clear Coat finish wheel (currently the standard 20" wheel)
-New tires have been developed by Pirelli, in conjunction with Maserati,
for the Sport GT S
Interior:
. The Carbon Fiber interior trim is now woven with aluminum threads
. The front seats bolsters have been slightly increased to provide more lateral support
No word on the engine.

Photoshopped
i think my P-shop renderings give the car same style (as maserati wanted) Yet, More Agressive Look . . .
Now that would justify 180k+ (throw in a TuBi and at minimum power increase via software)
MY VERSION (FRONT)

I saw it there this AM while I was there making carpet outlines of a 599 for a special set of carpets we are doing for a customer. he not only wants our carpets for the front but for the trunk as well with 7" cavallino on the trunk carpet as well!
I believe the Maserati Coupe came back late yesterday by truck from the LA area.
It's actually not even a full production model!
How's that hot rod Bentley?
Oh and BTW there are no engine upgrades for the Sport GTS! They told me this AM!

Did it have black interior with red stitching?
How's your Bentley holding up with the heat there of late?

I don't think there will be much performance differences except for less body roll and better tire support due to the larger tire widths.

Holding up fine, just drove it to an appontment today, it was 116 degrees. Looking forward to going to Newport Beach on Wednesday for 3 days, should be able to put the top down. Also thinking of going to Ventura on Sunday, have a few Porsche parts to unload.

It had black interior but cannot remember any stitching, just walked around it once.

I hear LA is about 104!
Maybe Newport Beach is cooler.
