As Ferrari Owners, How Do You Feel About...
The recent events in Formula One.

If you've got the time, FIA's official Decision (14pages):

Honestly, what are your oppinions on the abysmal way the Ferrari team conducts itself in F1? For those that follow, you will know that the Ferrari team has had distinct advantages in F1 for years. The Ferrari team practically owns the FIA.
Everyone in every form of sports watch the competition. Information is swapped legally and illegally. Punishments are appropriate when caught. However, would anyone agree with extent of the FIA's one sided punishment?
Ferrari has not lost a thing in this decision, rather, they have gained the Championship! Odd when a Ferrari employee is the person who started this.
Like I said, I'm Very curious to hear what Ferrari owners think of this entire debacle.

My understanding is that a single, dishonest, disgruntled Ferrari employee gave to McLaren the secret documents. McLaren not only accepted them and did not tell anyone but it appears from the new evidence, that they did indeed use them to their advantage. A crime was committed and once they were presented with those documents then McLaren should have immediately notified the FIA and returned them to Ferrari. They did neither and it appears they had no intention of doing so. McLaren took part in this and should be punished as should the now former Ferrari employee. It is also very clear that had they not have been caught, they would have continued to keep and or use the illegally gotten information and had no intention of turning it over to the proper owners. Possession of stolen property is possession stolen property. If you have a stolen car in your garage, given to you by the thief, you know it was stolen and then your defense is that you didn't drive it? It seems relatively straight forward to me.
