Porsches & Polo is our next event, coming up on Sunday, January 20th, 2008. Held at the Sarasota Polo Grounds, and starts at noon. Bring your folding chairs and picnic blankets, and enjoy our favorite local event. Porsches of all ages and models will be on hand for your viewing pleasure during the polo match, and Porsche owners may join the driving tour around the playing field during intermission.
Lunch and refreshments will be served, and there is a cash bar for champagne, wine, & beer. Parking is restricted to Porsche models, parking guides will assist with all parking. Please RSVP by January 10th to Russ or Diane Lee at rrl3@verizon.net or call 941-907-8000.

Is it more of a car show or a Polo game with some Porsche's?

 

Yea I have the same question...im not a big polo fan

 

so as long as it doesnt fall on the Rolex weekend I can probably shoot for it...my guess is that we could pick up some Tampa bay people as well ...I'll obvioulsy have to park outside the polo field since I'm Porscheless Or they could call it Porsches & 1 BMW & Polo

This is a polo match, so Polo is kinda the focus. I'm expecting around 80-100 cars, the same amount that we had at our December event. It's a casual car gathering, with a bunch of horses running around. I'm not a Polo fan, but it's still an interesting event.
Lunch will be served at the Polo Grounds, and at the intermission there is a parade lap around Polo Field. It's casual, it's fun, and an upscale event.

Just to clarify,there is no breakfast at Suncoast on Sunday.We do host a breakfast every third Saturday of the month for all to enjoy.Suncoast will provide a catered lunch at the Polo match on Sunday however.Just didn't want anyone from the north driving all the way here for not.
