It was a DIY, used a kit from Armorclad. Used a hand grinder to remove the old coating and prep the floor. Acid etched in spots where needed. Primer, Epoxy, Flakes, Topcoat. Lots of work and waaay more than Rustoleum type product - but it should last a long long time with no issues

 

Looks fantastic. I think that the key to a good outcome with these floor coating products is surface prep, and it sound like you did what had to be done. It really should last a long time. Great work.

 

I did this to my floor and I am always getting compliments on my floor. This is totally worth the money and work. I recommend anyone to do it.

I used armorclad as well, it has held up well 4 years so far. Just make sure the top coat clear anti slip aggregate is cured completely . I thought mine was and the hot tires left slight imprint.

Used Armorclad products. The stuff at Home Depot is typically poor quality. Bottom line = if you want quality, you will pay. Big box store products may look good for a few years, but typically fail.
Neighbors said they spend @$200 on their floor, I spent closer to $1,000...but I'll make a prediction that mine will hold up much better than theirs over time.
Key is lots of prep work, proper materials
