Any news, I'm hungry for this stuff. I've been planning for 5 years now and about to exicute.

Blood clots all the way up my right leg have slowed me down (phlebitis). Sucks to get old. It started in April.
I have the house mostly framed out now and my subs will be starting the utilities next week. I hope to get back to the garage later this month. My doc forbade me from going to DE days because of blood thinners. Autocross was allowed and now I am an autocross junkie. I go at least once every weekend and that takes up some of the time I would spend on the garage or the house. Got my priorities in the correct order though. There will be a major push before the cold weather sets in.

Almost forgot, replaced the plywood construction door with a steel insulated door. No pics for that. Building the stairway and the utility room will be next.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope all is going better, and you get to try out that radiant heated floor this winter.

Seems like it's taking quite a while but at least your doing it the way you want it and not rushing the build.
Nice garage

Looks like a great project but the based on what you have gone through I would rather go to the dentist and have all my teeth pulled. I have never seen such shoddy workmanship!! Where did you find these monkeys? Do you have a General Contractor on the job? I have watched this to many times, hire a good GC you will save time and money by not doing things twice and ending up with poor workmanship. Has a engineer looked at that triple bottom plate and shim mess? I would get some metal shims in there and grout it or it is going to settle.
Sorry you are having such a tough time with this, when I see projects go this way I want to jump in and work for free to help homeowners not have to put up with it.
Good luck and hopefully it goes smooth from here on in!!
