Racedeck Price...is this good?

Just got a price for Racedeck flooring of $2.99/ft. Is this a good deal? I have been on the fence about epoxy or racedeck, so far they have come out to about the same price, about $3.50/ft. I haven't seen any lower price for Racedeck so I don't know if this sale is common or not.

A company from Northern California is selling them at a motorcyle event called "Street Vibrations" in Reno, NV. Deal is, I have to put down a refundable $250 deposit by this weekend if I want this price. I'm not quite ready to do the garage yet since I have several other home projects going on right now, but if this is a great deal I would buy them now and do the install later when I have time. Thanks for any replies.

RD and epoxy the same price

$2.99 is ok but not a great price by any stretch. Call RD directly and ask them for porsche and/or viper club pricing, they should cut you a smokin deal.

I just finished epoxy coating + clear coating the garage (hair over 1200sq/ft) and it was like $500 in materials plus probably 4 hours total time to roll it out. Epoxy needed 18 hours to dry before I could run the clear coat. That stuff was about 12 hours to walk on and pretty well set in 24.

RD does look great but IMO if you actually do any serious work in the garage just go exoxy, it's much easier to clean and deal with.

The epoxy I am talking about is put on by a company, not by me. I thought about doing it myself but I just don't want to deal with it. After I am finished building this giant pergola in my backyard, I am ready to pay someone to do the garage if I decide to do epoxy. Since it isn't a smoking deal I will just wait until I am ready then. Gives me more time to decide what I want, tiles or epoxy. Thanks for the response.

depending on how much tile you're going to use, that is a good price. 2.99 is racedeck's discounted prices on over 250 squre feet or something like that. most places sell it for $3.5 to $4 per square foot.

call tiffany at racedeck. shipping will probably be around $150 for your average garage's worth. hopefully you're out of state so you can skip on the sales tax. if the price is the same, i would buy direct from them so as to have no hassles with warranty issues. they are a great company to deal with.
