EPOXY grout for sure...No grout sealer will last as long or will be able to keep out all garage chemicals. I highly recommend Latapoxy 2000 (http://www.laticrete.com/DoItYourself/Products/EpoxyGrout/tabid/224/Default.aspx)..I know this product well and it is GREAT stuff.

As for the tile cracking that is usually due to bad coverage or transfer to the back of the tile. Please use a premium thinnest mortar. Cheep mortar is exactly what you pay for. Laticrete also makes a few good ones.

If you need assistance PM me I can help with most any tile project in most US city’s.

I am planning on ceremic tiles for my spring project, The tiles I bought were even cheaper than the Race deck so I went with it. $1.65 per 16x16 tile at lowes.

Make sure you use commercial grade tile. It's much stronger and resistent to chips than residential grade tile.

Just be aware that it's not easy to work with, once you mix it, you've got about 20 minutes before it becomes too thick to apply.

This thread hasn't seen any action for two years, but I'm really glad I found it - great information.
