I think this is a good deal. 440 shipped, beats previous GB's on this.

GPS based data logger, many nice features.

wonder how it compares to a G-TEC, besides the fact it has a GPS logger? Looks cool.

 

It is far superior to a g-tec. No accelerometers, no worry about level roads or leveling in the car. Additionally a gtec only serves as a performance meter, this does so much more by datalogging and knowing your exact position. Included software to load saved files from the sd card will overlay your exact driving path onto google earth. That means you can actually lay out your line on a track using the google earth photo. There are pictures of this online, including the details of the software and its full capabilites in the links above. So far I have a couple of buyers not including myself from other sites, anyone here?

By the way if you are local to me and want to pick it up in Kansas City the price will be 430. I will have to be shipping these out to buyers and the price is cut down as far as possible without committing to buy way more than I am comfortable with. Full warranty support from the manufacturer, but they do have a 15% restocking fee.

 

Here are some sample pics of the mapping overlay. Another feature is the lap timer, you can put splits in anywhere you want to and analyze it all later at your computer. Move it from car to car with ease and compare driving styles.
