We would never take that long nor charge that much. As far as the hesitation, we do have access to tune the car on our dyno if necessary.

Glad you have been able to put yours through the paces with great reliability.

I appreciate your answers, just tossing in my real world experience. I am very happy with the result, and you're correct - it just needs some dyno time to fine tune it. And I just need the time to get that done.

Tempting. So you are well trained on the piggyback CU and have all the tools needed from Mike at TPC??

The UniChip is a very simple piggyback computer. We can handle that no problem If you are interested, drop me a email.

Group Buy is still going on, though hard for people to see now that it is in this Forum Section.

Do you find that the tuning for the piggyback ECU is very different depending on exhaust setup? I.E. Tubi, AWE, sports cats & mufflers VS stock 997s exhaust setup? Or does it really matter at all what the exhaust is?

Thanks, and sorry to have hijacked this. Hopefully I added something here as I have experience with the product and really like it. I hope this thread and the Group Buy one will generate some sales. I want more 997 SC'd company.

I'm sold. New '08 C2 Cab leased. Just need to check with my dealer to make sure they'll still cover the car if the engine explodes. I worked with the sales manager so I'll call him direct.

Btw - I got a chance to ride with Summoboy and we did a few streets around my neighborhood. Purchased a part from him direct. The thing is AMAZING!!! His black beast is MUCH faster than the 997TT. It's a 997 TIP C2S that will murder a TT. Doesn't take much more than that to sell me.

Summoboy - I'll make SC company with you once I return from an HK business trip and get clearance from the dealer. They're pretty cool and would probably use me as a referral.

Vivid - how much for the install??

Tks,
J

Dan,

What's the HP / Torque gain on Non-S? I have someone asking at another thread I posted. And, I wanted to know too. I can't imagine it being way different.

Tks,
J

I only have their dyno from the S. But a non S will see similar gains. The curve will be as linear, just be less because the non S has less power.

PM me. I want to know the total price including install for a 997 non S tip. How is TPC different than VF? Anything else I need to replace?
