What happened to the 996 LED group buy? Again?

Sorry guys, but because of issues with vendor sponsorship IB requested this thread be closed and more than that removed. I have closed it but I have not removed it and IB hasn't removed it yet but in case they do I am posting this thread...
gents, I'm very sorry but Internet Brands wants this thread shut down because of the liability that IB assumes by letting it take place in this fashion...sponsor participation is an absolute must and there is none. Zook @ SCB was trying to help by saying he would sponsor it but he did not understand what that meant and it is my fault the thread was put back up without a clear understanding of what the venodor's responsibilities would be...ie collecting all the money and assuring delivery of product to the members in the group buy...that was all unfairly left to Slider and IB will not permit him to act in that capacity since he is not a vendor and there is no vendor agreement that would give IB some recourse if the whole thing went bad and the members money disappeared....IB cannot permit substantial member funds to go into private hands due to liability issues...
We are now right back where we started when we tried to secure a second site vendor to handle the group buy for you guys...and you are left to sending $150,000 to someone you don't know and against whom you will have little or no recourse. I am sure Slider is an honerable person and he has certainly gone out of his way to make this happen including spending some of his own funds. I hope he is able to move this to a suitable venue or he is able to obtain a site vendor that is willing to handle the exchange of funds for product...sorry guys, this stinks
If there are any 6speed vendors out there that are willing to take this on please let me know ASAP.
Please do not blame Zook @ SCB or Urbanhotrod for any of this as they were just trying to help. I am to blame for letting the thread back on the forum without an understanding between Zook and myself as to what his responsibilities would be as a group buy sponsor. I apologize to all the members for the way the thread has been handled from start to finish.
