GT3RS for 222K??
Look liked a dark grey. I didnt take that close of look at it, wifey pointed it out to me, and gave me the sticker.. I was drooling over a white cab S with tan leather interior...
I just went by Stevens Creek Porsche to look at the car - it is actually $228k asking price, $90k markup, lots of bling factory cosmetic options but no stripes and not even PCCB - kind of silly, really.
They also have a white 3 there, basic car, for $35k over, right around $150k

And then there will be the 999, etc. There will always be newer and better of everything, but a few of the older fast cars will still be precious (e.g., 1973 RS, F40, 288 GTO)
Totally agree with you - the GT3 is an amazing amount of car for the money.
100% Agree! But NOT includes 997 GT3RS.

Hello:
I've had Ferraris for the last 15 years. The GT3 RS is the first Porsche I've owned in 15 years, believe me every time the TR, 355, or 550 comes out of a major service I've thought of switching out one of them due to the $$$.
The GT3 RS(s) are scarce in so cal - I've been looking for a while and finally got one over MSRP. I am still looking for an Orange RS and all the ones available or coming in locally are now all $50K to 100K over MSRP (It doesn't help when some have multiple cars - I know of one person who has 5).
I know of two $195K offers on 150K window car which were declined.
I may not know much about Porsches but regardless of the hype, limited numbers, RS history, good looks, and "market value" adustments the RS is a very special car.
BTW: Even with a "reasonalble market value" adjustment the RS is nowhere near 430 Spider/Scuderia or Lambo SL money.

If your looking for a turbo, I specked out an 08 white car, with PCCB's, sports chrono, natural leather, alcantara wheel & shifter, painted rockers and front grill, diff lock, manual and few other options. I was lucky enough to get an allocation for a 08 RS so the turbo is available. It is built on its way to the dealership later this month. MSRP is about $147M. Let me know if your interested and I can have the sales manager call you. Site would not let me send private message, not enough posts. I have no connection with the dealer other than loyal customer. Thanks.

i went there today to check them out. somebody already bought the gt3 for less than what they were asking for. the RS is still available @ 90k over msrp.
i'm sure they give it for much less to serious buyers.
